Getting to Phuket, Thailand

Phuket is one of the most popular destinations in Southeast Asia for its beautiful beaches, good food, good shopping and a vibrant nightlife and endless recreational opportunities it offers to people of all backgrounds. It is located in the south of Thailand and is in fact the largest island in Thailand. Generally, people get to Phuket by plane, bus or ferry.

By Plane - The airport is Phuket International Airport, one of the busiest airports in Thailand.There are direct international flights to Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Macao and Seoul. At peak times, there are also direct charter flights from Europe and Australia. If you are from other parts of Thailand such as Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya and Ko Samui, there are also low-cost carriers, you can take home in Phuket. The major airlines, the airport will be operated by Thai Airways, Silk Air and Malaysia Airlines. There are also a number of low-cost airlines, the flightHere, as Thai AirAsia, Tiger Airways, Nok Air and Firefly Once past baggage clearance, you can take a taxi limousine, taxi or minibus to achieve the desired objective. There are also shuttles to the airport, leaving every half hour or so. The shuttle will take you to the bus station in Phuket Town, where you can jump on the bus that takes you to all the main beaches of Phuket.

By bus - it places on the mainland in Thailandsuch as Bangkok, Hat Yai and Krabi, you can get to Phuket by bus. Be sure to buy tickets from a coach's confidence, as there are some bus companies with reputations for overload, theft, and generally poor service. In general, the buses will take you back to the terminal BKS, which is located on Thanon Phang Na Phuket Town. From here you can take a taxi or bus to your location. You can also get in a car club called tuk-tuk who travel for a cheap and fast to be in Thailand.

WithFerry - If you are the islands of Ko Phi Phi, Krabi, Koh Racha or the Similan, you might want to consider the ferry to Phuket. These ferries run twice a day for about two hours. They make it fun to drive, but the trip can be a little 'turbulent, if there is a storm. There are also many cruise passengers to Phuket.
